The London Housing Foundation is an independent charitable trust. Since our inception in 1990 we have concentrated on making an impact on the lives of single homeless people and those vulnerable to homelessness in Greater London.
We work through frontline voluntary agencies tackling homelessness, aiming to be proactive and to minimise bureaucracy and administration costs. The Foundation is led by an Executive Director, Kevin Ireland, who is the sole employee. Further assistance is provided by a range of commissioned advisers and consultants. The (non- executive) Directors of the Foundation, led by the Chair - Simon Dow - bring a wide range of experience of the problems of homelessness, housing and organisational development as a result of their professional involvement in relevant fields.
