Since its inception in 1990 the London Housing Foundation has concentrated its efforts on trying to make an impact on the lives of single homeless people in Greater London and those who are vulnerable to homelessness.
The Foundation aims to be proactive, and to minimise bureaucracy and administration costs in its support of frontline agencies tackling homelessness. It is led by an Executive Director, the sole employee of the Foundation, with further assistance provided by a range of commissioned advisers and consultants. The (non-executive) Directors of the Foundation also bring a wide range of experience of the problems of homelessness, housing and organisational development as a result of their professional involvement in relevant fields.
You can obtain more information about the Foundation's directors from our People page.
During the year the Foundation has continued with its dual focus of supporting homelessness agencies and their activities through its grant-making, and the IMPACT programme - of technical and other support - to help strengthen those agencies in delivering their missions.
