The annual review for 2008-2009 was entitled Supporting Transitions. The London Housing Foundation has been working in the homelessness sector for nearly twenty years. Formed in 1990, it quickly established itself as a respected grant-making charitable trust, actively supporting the community of organisations serving single homeless people in London.
Capacity building, learning and support are hallmarks of the Foundation’s work and the guiding principle of the new strategy, as the name implies, is to continue and build on these strengths by supporting and enabling both organisational and individual transitions.
