goThe Andy Ludlow Homelessness Awards are the country’s leading homelessness awards, run by London Councils and sponsored by the London Housing Foundation. The awards are co-sponsored by Communities and Local Government and Shelter.
Prize money of £25,000 is awarded to the organisations which demonstrate innovative and creative solutions for tackling homelessness in the capital, as well as recognizing good practice.
A top prize of £10,000 is given to the overall winner of the award with £5,000 going to the three runners-up.
The awards are open to registered social landlords, housing and social service departments, NHS trusts, and voluntary organisations. The application process takes place each autumn and details of the process, deadlines and criteria are posted on this website as well as on the London Councils' website.
Winning the Awards is a widely recognized endorsement that has, in the past, helped winners attract funding to develop their services.
The Andy Ludlow Homelessness Awards were established in 1999 as a memorial to the late director of housing and social services in the London borough of Haringey.
