St Mungo's

Description of Services
St Mungo's is a homelessness agency and housing association which began in 1969 and now runs more than 60 hostels, high support projects and semi-independent houses giving shelter to over 1,200 people every night in London. It is the largest homelessness organisation in the capital.  Our range of care homes and specialist hostels, supported housing and short-stay hostels mean we can help homeless people and those most vulnerable to homelessness, as well as people sleeping rough on the streets. Our specialist workers meet a variety of needs, from help with mental health problems to drug abuse, to support in setting up a new home. We run two day centres, and St Mungo's also provides London's largest directly delivered activity, training and employment programme - giving 2000 homeless and vulnerable people a year a chance to improve their lives.

Purpose of Grant
In order to improve outcomes monitoring, St Mungos will implement a system of measuring and recording soft indicators throughout their full range of their services.  The grant assists with the payment of an independent consultant to develop and implement the system.
