During 2002 the London Housing Foundation supported Providence Row to research the needs of residents in their hostel for people with problems of alcohol abuse. In particular this investigated how those needs can best be met through strengthening keyworking. This led to the development of draft guidelines for keyworking in a residential setting for people who are homeless.
On 12th May 2003 senior staff and practitioners working in this area discussed the draft guidelines and how to strengthen keyworking for this client group. The revised guidelines arising from this research and conference can be downloaded by clicking Finding the Key.
