After 7 years with the London Housing Foundation, Kevin Ireland, the Executive Director, moved on at the end of May 2008 to operate as an independent consultant.
Kevin joined the Foundation in October 2000 and has led its support of agencies tackling homelessness in London since then. The establishment of the Impact programme, to help build organisational capacity, was an early innovation and has remained a mainstay of the Foundation's programmes. In particular, the holistic and comprehensive programme to improve outcome measurement within agencies has been a hallmark.
Kevin intends to continue working with homelessness agencies in his new capacity and the Foundation's Board wish him all the very best for the future.
Meanwhile, the Board is reviewing future strategic options and has temporarily suspended making new grants (other than special grants in response to an emergency or urgent need) until the new strategy is in place. Full details will be available on the website in due course.
