7th April 2011
The Foundation was formed 21 years ago this year and is marking the occasion in a number of ways. One of these is a special prize that it is adding to the 2011
Andy Ludlow Awards.
The Foundation has been a major sponsor of the Ludlow Awards since their inception and, with this one-off prize, the Foundation's board is offering £15,000 to the project or organisation which makes best use of volunteers. The prize will be awarded to an organisation that is exceptional in several ways:
• The number of volunteers employed in relation to the number of paid staff
• Imaginative or innovative roles for volunteers
• Training and development of volunteers
• Planning for the evolution of volunteer roles
• Interesting and innovative ways of recruiting volunteers.
This prize is open to all Ludlow applicants, including previous winners and current applications to the standard award.
