City of London’s Personalised Budgets project wins £25,000
Run by City of London and Broadway, this innovative project helped long-term rough sleepers who have been resistant to moving off the streets and reluctant to use health or council services won first prize at this year's Andy Ludlow Awards. Runners-up for the main prize were St Mungo’s and the City of London’s The Lodge project and Westminster City Council’s Literacy strategy both receiving £10,000.
UR4Driving wins our £15,000 21st Anniversary Award
The Foundation’s one-off prize to celebrate its 21st anniversary was awarded to Upper Room for its excellent UR4Driving project which teaches ex-offenders to drive in return for volunteer shiftwork at Upper Room’s foodbank project. At the end of the two-part course the participants emerge with a driving licence as well as employment skills.
