On the 2nd December 2009, the LHF held a workshop on the financial health of the homelessness sector.
Following the production of the LHF’s Atlas of Services for Homeless People in London, further research has been carried out on the finances of the homeless sector.
This free workshop explored the financial challenges facing senior staff members and trustees in the homeless sector. The LHF, together with the Financial Information Company (publishers of Social Housing magazine) shared financial data on the sector and showed how individual agencies’ finances can be benchmarked against averages. The workshop concluded with questions and a debate on the future use of this analysis.
